Our History
Upon moving from Minneapolis to Madison, Ryan Berndt, master trainer, realized local area health clubs did not provide the latest techniques in personal training.  His vision of a fitness studio run by talented trainers providing the most effective fitness training led him to open Fast Action Fitness in 2006. Ryan believes that for each person, the movements of everyday life, from occupation, to sports, and injury affect one's body and are important aspects to consider when designing an exercise program. 

In 2008, Ryan requested the expertise of his wife, Sarah Mattison, a registered dietitian with her masters degree in nutritional science, and his sister Robin Berndt, an international master level trainer.  Within one year, an outstanding reputation in the Madison area sparked the expansion of Fast Action Fitness into Hybrid Fitness.
